さて、いよいよUNESCO 世界遺産にも指定されているジャイプールのアンバー・フォート（アンベール城）に到着しました。やはり何もかも素晴らしくてどこを見ても写真を撮りたくなり、またまた凄い数の写真です。写真の数が多すぎるのもありますが、一眼レフと携帯とで写真を撮っていて一眼レフの時間設定がシンガポールのままになっていたので写真の中で時差があり、どの写真をどの部分で撮ったものなのか、頭の中がぐちゃぐちゃ。疲れました〜。

So, we finally reached Amber Fort of Jaipur – listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site.  Wherever you look you want to take a photo!  I was using both my big camera and my iPhone, but my camera’s internal time clock was set to Singapore time whereas the time stamp on the iPhone photos reflected local India time.  As a result there was a difference of several hours in the time stamps of the two sets of photos which meant they got out sequence in the Photos app and it was so hard for me to organise which photos were taken where, especially as I took sooooo many photos.  My brain hurts!  I’m sure I made some mistakes, but here we go.

アンバー・フォートには下の方から象に乗って登ることが出来るのですが、相当揺れて乗り心地悪そうというのもあり、日差しをまともに浴びて暑そう！というのもあり、動物虐待という声があることもあり、わたしたちは車で上がっていただきました。象に乗りたい場合は朝早くから行くのが良いようです。わたしたちが到着して数分後に（はっきり覚えていませんが、１１時には着いていたと思います）最後の象が上がって来ていました。上の方から撮った写真にも小さく象が写っている写真が何枚もあります。

You can go up to the Fort on an elephant if you want, but it didn’t look comfortable and looked very hot with direct sun, and also there are people who believe it’s cruel to the elephants so we took our car to very close to the gate.  If you want to take the elephant ride, it’s better to go quite early in the morning, they stop using elephants at certain time of the day.  I think we arrived before 11.00am and we were just in time to see the last elephants arriving.  You can see in many of the photos that were taken from high above as well as from closer to them.
