Carrot Soup And Peach, Mozzarella & Parma Ham Salad

今日の夕食は、昨日作るはずだったスープとサラダ。スープは玉ねぎと人参にコリアンダー、クミン、カレーパウダーを加えたもの。サラダは、日本の桃(ソテーして少しだけメープルシロップをかけました)、モッツァレラ、パルマハム 、ミントのサラダ。せっかく日本の桃を買ってきましたが、あまり甘くなかったので、ソテーして甘みを出してサラダにしました。

Today’s dinner was what I was going to make yesterday – soup & salad.  The soup was carrot soup (sauteed onion, added slices of carrot and coriander, cumin & curry powder).  Salad was Peach (sauteed and sprinkled with a little maple syrup), mozzarella  Parma Ham & mint.  I bought expensive Japanese peaches but they weren’t very sweet so sauteed one and used it for the salad.







It’s peach season in Japan.  Peaches in Japan are very sweet and very fragrant and you can have delicious peach soup and peach pasta in nice restaurants.  Japanese peaches we can buy here are so expensive but not always very tasty…. very sad.
