今日は、今月の Carpo でのレッスンに行ってきました。大きなシャンペトルの花束。ダリア、エルムス、ほおずき。ダリアが３０本、エルムス１０本、ほおずきは何本あったのだったか、１４、５本？なのでだんだん手が回らない太さになり、最後の方はテーブルに置きながらの作業でした。色がかなり鮮やかに写っていますが写真ほどエルムスの黄色は濃い色ではなく、ダリアの赤はもっとこっくりとした濃い赤です。ダリアの丈があまりないので、シャンペトルとしては小さめ。

I took Carpo’s flower lesson today – large bouquet, Champetre style.  30 Dahlias, 10 Elms (I’m not sure if the name is correct) and Chinese Lantern Plant (about 15?).  Dahlias’s stems are not very long so the bouquet doesn’t look large but there are many stems so I needed to use the table to add the last few stems because my hand wasn’t big enough to be able to hold it in one hand.  On the photos the colours look very vibrant but they a little quieter colours – the yellow and green are not as bright and the dahlias are also darker red.
