今日は、わたしたちの結婚して３０回目の結婚記念日。３０年って凄いな〜、と思いますが、３０年も経っている気がしません。

たまにカードを作って驚かせてくれる夫、しばらくなかったですが、結婚記念日のカードを作ってくれていました。実は昨日、いつもカードを作っているワークデスクにスタンプなど出しっぱなしにしていた辺りの様子が少し違っている気がして、もしかして？とちらっと思いましたが、今朝カードを開けたら手作りでした。結婚式の写真とインドでの写真を印刷し、この間お友達が使われたシャンパンのスタンプとダイ（切る型）を使って作ってくれていました。型の使い方、教えたことあったっけかな？シャンパングラスの中のシャンパンは、スタンプではなくマーカーで塗ったみたいです。「シャンパンの泡が上手くいかなかった。」と言っていました。お米みたいな形になってますが（笑）、それがまた可愛い、と思う妻バカです。夫が作ってくれる姿が浮かんで、胸がきゅんとなります。

中には、「素晴らしい３０年をありがとう」というメッセージが書かれていました。

It’s our 30th wedding anniversary today.  30 years sounds such a long time but it doesn’t seem so.

My husband surprises me occasionally by making a card.  He hasn’t done it for a while but he made an anniversary card for me.  I must say I thought something was different with the things I have on my work table and did wonder if he used something but I wasn’t sure.  He used a stamp and a die of a Champagne glass that a friend used the other day – they were both still on my table with some other stuff.  He also printed a couple of our photos.  He didn’t use the stamp of the Champagne in the glass, he coloured it with a marker.  He also coloured the bubbles, which he told me wasn’t as good as mine.  They look funny shape like Japanese rice, but they are so cute!  He is so sweet.  It makes me feel a bit tearful when I think of him making it.

Inside, it said, “Thank you for wonderful 30 years!”
