Pasta e Fagioli (Pasta & Beans)

今日夫が夕食に作ってくれたのは、昨日の煮込みと同じくAn Invitation to Italian Cooking by Antonio Carluccio(Antonio Carluccio) という料理本からのレシピ。1つ材料を入れるたびに10分ほど炒めるので思っているより時間がかかります。家庭料理なので季節や家庭によっていろいろなバージョンがあるようです。贅沢にレシピの通り、サン・ダニエルハム(生ハム)の厚切りを使っています。お野菜もたくさん入っていますが豆とパスタが入っているので、これだけで満足感があるスープです。

Today’s dinner my husband cooked was “Pasta e Fagioli”, which is a soup with pasta and beans and some vegetables, the recipe he used was from the same book as yesterday’s braised beef – An Invitation to Italian Cooking by Antonio Carluccio  He used a thick slice of San Daniel Ham as the recipe says.  It’s a very hearty soup.  It takes much longer to make than you would think because you need to cook  each ingredient (or some of them a few at a time) for 10 minutes or so before adding the next
