Chicken Breasts with Wild Mushroom and Bacon Stuffing and Marsala Sauce

今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、Delia Smith の「Chicken Breasts with Wild Mushroom and Bacon Stuffing and Marsala Sauce(チキンの胸肉、ワイルドマッシュルームとベーコンの詰め物とマルサラソース)。

Today’s dinner my husband cooked was Delia Smith’s “Chicken Breasts with Wild Mushroom and Bacon Stuffing and Marsala Sauce”.  

チキンは詰め物をしたあとアルミフォイルで包んでオーブンで火を入れるので柔らかく仕上がっていますし、ソースに使うマルサラ酒の香りもよく、とても美味しかったです。

Chicken breast is first stuffed then wrapped in aluminium foil and cooked in the oven, so it’s very tender and the sauce is lovely with Marsala.  Delicious.

いつもは特に写真を撮っていませんが、土曜日はメインの後にデザート代わりにチーズをいただきます。ワインが残って入ればワインと。今日は先日飲んで余っていた赤ワインで少ししかなかったので飲みきってしまい、ポートワインと一緒にいただきました。

I don’t often take a photo of it but we have cheese as a dessert after the main meal on Saturdays.  If we still have wine left we have it with wine but the wine we had today was left-over from the other day so we finished it with the main, so we had cheese with Port.
