Soft Tacos

今日の夕食は、ソフトタコスでした。我が家は、いつも、チリコンカーニの余ったのを(多めに作るのですが)冷凍しておいて、それをフィリングに使います。他にレタス、トマト、玉ねぎ、ワカモーレ、コリアンダー、タコソース、チーズ(夫だけ)。トルティーヤを中華の蒸し器で温めて使います。ご飯と一緒に食べるチリコンカーニに比べてチリを食べる量は半分以下でお腹いっぱいになります。

Today’s dinner was Soft Tacos.  We always use left-over (I make a large quantity on purpose) Chilli Con Carne that I freeze for the filling as well as lettuce, tomato, onion, guacamole, coriander leaves, taco sauce & cheese (just my husband).  I steam soft tortilla in a Chinese steaming thing.  We eat quite a lot less than a half the amount of Chilli this way compared to when we eat it with rice, so hopefully it’s good for us.
