Homemade Pizza

Today’s dinner was homemade pizza.  The pizza we bake with this portable Japanese pizza oven is so good, of course not like the real thing but not bad at all.  Outside is crispy, and inside is soft and chewy at the same time.  However, today, the first one wasn’t baked quite enough, it rose too much around the outside edge and started to burn, so we couldn’t bake it longer.  The second one also seemed a little under-baked.  I wonder if I left the dough too long before starting the baking.

As always, the topping was tomato, onion, mozzarella, salami (not chorizo like usual, we had some left-over salami from the other day).  We made a half of the 2nd one with blue cheese, fig, honey & sliced almond.  I also made  a large salad.

The portable oven is very good. There are different types but the important thing is that the temperature goes up to 400C.

Cool! Never seen one of those portable ovens before! Your pizzas turned out so cute but I hate underbaked dough. 😝
