Risotto Bianco Con Pesto

今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、Jaimie’s Italy からペスト(バジルソース)をのせた白いリゾットでした。リゾットだけ(あまり具がないリゾットですし)では物足らないので、ハムやサラミやチーズをリゾットの後でいただきました。本来ならリゾットを後にいただきますが、前菜を食べてからリゾットを作ると間が空いてしまうので。お米の硬さもクリーミーさもちょうど良い加減に出来ていて、美味しかったです。

Today’s dinner my husband cooked was Risotto Bianco Con Pesto (white risotto with pesto).  I feel eating just risotto (specially when it’s a very simple one) is a bit boring so we had a cheese & Ham/salami platter after The risotto.  Risotto should be after cheese/ham but we didn’t want to have a 20 minutes gap before risotto (as my husband would have had to cook it after having the starter).  The doneness of rice and the creaminess were both just right and we enjoyed it very much.
