Spaghetti Alla Puttanesca

今日から9月ですね。もう、今年も4分の3が過ぎてしまいました。今年はいつもにも増して、時間が経つのが早い気がしていますが、来年はもっと早いのでしょうね。歳をとるほど時間が早く感じられるというのは、本当です。

We’re already in September! Only 1/4 is left of this year. Time seems to be flying by even faster this year but I guess it’ll feel even faster next year. It’s true that the older you get the faster the time goes.

今日の夕食は、夫に頼まれてちょこっとお手伝いをして、スパゲティーのプッタネスカを作りました。わたしはニンニクとオリーブを切っただけですけど(笑)。

My husband wanted me to help him cook tonight’s dinner so I gave him a little help – all I did was slicing garlics and cutting olives, though.

Genaro さんのレシピですが、フレッシュの唐辛子ではなくチリフレークを使いました。アンチョビはなし。フレッシュのトマトを使うので、軽い仕上がりです。美味しかったです!

He chose Genaro’s recipe for the Puttanesca, but we used dried chilli flakes instead of fresh chilli, and left out the anchovy as I cannot eat it. As the recipe calls for fresh tomato, it’s nice and light. We enjoyed it very much.
