Chicken Breasts with Mushroom and Bacon Stuffing and Marsala Sauce

今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、ディリア・スミスのチキンの胸肉、マッシュルーム、ベーコンスタッフィングとマルサラソース。せっかく詰め物をしてクルッと巻いてオーブンで焼いたチキンの胸肉、崩れちゃっていますが、味は同じ、とても美味しかったです。マルサラとチキンとマッシュルーム、よく合います。フィリングとソースは少し違うのですが出来上がれば同じなので、詰め物にせず普通にチキンを焼いて、上からソースをかける方が手間が省けて味は同じなのでは、という気もします。

Today’s dinner my husband cooked was Delia Smith’s “Chicken Breasts with Wild Mushroom and Bacon Stuffing and Marsala Sauce“. My husband stuffed chicken breast with mushroom and bacon, rolled it up and cooked it in the oven, but sadly it fell apart – but the taste was the same, it was delicious. Marsala, chicken and mushroom go together so well. The filling and the sauce look too similar and they also taste very similar so I feel it’s a lot easier just to cook the chicken and sauce separately and pour the sauce over the chicken, it’ll save a lot of work.
