Japan won against Scotland in the Rugby World Cup today. Yay! When we were living in Hong Kong we used to go to the Rugby Sevens and those days Japan was very weak. Well done, Japan!

For dinner tonight, we went to Nanbantei, which is one of the few restaurants we’ll probably remember fondly after leaving Singapoare. It’s not nearly as good as special Kushiyaki restaurants in Japan but it’s as good as just an ordinary one in Japan.

We had Rolled pork with shiso leaf (steak leaf), ginko nuts, mince chicken balls, okra wrapped with pork, sweet corn and gyoza (2 orders). Today’s gyoza was very good – it’s often soggy but today it was crispy. We had 3 bottles of Sapporo beer. Total S$90.
