Steak & Beef Stew


The major house renovation is starting on Monday and we are going to be away from Then for about a month, so we decided to use what we have in the freezer for tonight’s dinner.  When we stayed with our friends last week and had steak dinner, my husband’s fillet was to thick so we sliced some off and kept it in the freezer, and he used it for his steak (cooked with Anova).  I had Jamie Oliver’s Jool’s favourite stew that we froze sometime ago (there was only a small portion).  We cooked Potato Dauphinoise, which is my husband’s favourite and would go with both of the dinners, and some carrots and sugar snap peas.  Both good!
