今日のランチは、日本風のピザトースト。具はハム、トマト、玉ねぎ、チーズ。今日はわたしがパンをスライスしたので、分厚いです(笑)!これくらいないとね。とっても美味しかったです!本当はもう少しチーズが焦げた方が美味しいのですが、そうするとパンの外側が焦げすぎてしまうので、兼ね合いが難しいです。
Today’s lunch was Japanese style Pizza Toast – today the topping was ham, tomato, onion, and cheese, with a little tomato paste. I sliced the bread today, so they are thick – this is how it should be, or it can be even thicker. The bread was baked in our bread machine with a mixture of six-seeds flour and all-purpose flour with a little salt, no butter, no oil, no milk. I would have liked the cheese and onion to be more browned but then the crust would have been burned, it’s hard to get the balance right. It was delicious!
