先ほど、近くのファームショップに少し必要なものを買いに出かけたのですが、とっても良いお天気で、風もあまりないせいか暖かくて、コートも必要ない感じでした。これまで良いお天気でも気温は低くて寒かったので、初めて春を感じました。調べてみると気温は１３度。水仙もたくさん咲いていました。

表玄関に置いている鉢のお花、ずいぶん咲いて来ました。水仙がほとんどですが、１つだけピンクのチューリップの蕾（後ろの方にボケ写っています）もあります。

We went to a farm shop nearby to get a few things and found it was lovely and warm outside.  It’s been very sunny and not very windy, so for the first time in a long time I didn’t even need a coat.  Even though we’ve had some nice sunny days it has still been quite chilly, but it felt quite spring-like today.  13C so probably the warmest day in a long time.  We saw a lot of narcisus and daffodils.

A few narcisuss are out in one of the pots we have at the front door and we can see one pink tulip bud as well in the back.

花瓶のチューリップも開いてきています。特に赤と白のチューリップは八重なので、開くと他のお花みたい。

The tulips in vases are opening up.  The  red and white ones look like different flowers rather than tulips when they are open like this.

ちなみに先日アップしたロシアン・スノードロップですが、昨日見に行ったら見つけられなくて夫にいうと夫が見つけてくれたのですが、何かに踏まれてぺちゃんこになっていたのです（涙）。リスかな。悲しい。他にはまだ出てきていないので、もしかすると唯一のスノードロップだったのかも。

Incidentally, yesterday, when I tried to find the Russian Snowdrop I blogged the other day, I couldn’t find it. I told my husband and he went to have a look – he found it but it had been flattened.  So sad!  Maybe a squirrel stood or walked on it?  We cannot see any others popping out so that could be the only one.

関西はまだ少し先のようですが、東京は桜が満開のようですね。コロナがまだ心配ですが、みなさん、お花見はされるのでしょうか。

イギリスの桜の見頃はまだ少し先ですし、その頃には規制が少し緩んで外出しても良いことになっていると思いますので、どこかたくさん見られるところがあるか調べてみようと思います。チューリップももう直ぐ咲き始めるはず。去年、お友達と一緒にチューリップを見に行こうという話をしていたのですがロックダウンで行けなかったので、今年は行けると良いなと思っています。

I guess it’ll be a week or so ahead but the cherry blossoms seem to be in full bloom in Tokyo area.  I wonder if my friends had some “hanami” (going out to see cherry blossoms), corona virus is still a worry in Japan, too.

Cherry blossoms here, I guess, won’t be in bloom for a little while, but I hope we can go and see some.  The lockdown should be loosened a little and we should be allowed to go out.  Tulips must be coming out soon, too.  We were planning to visit a garden to view tulips with our friends but we couldn’t do that last year because of the lockdown, I hope we can this year.
