Freezer Meals

今日からもう5月ですね、日本は一番季節が良いときなのに出かけられな状況で気の毒です。イギリスは5月とは思えない寒さでしたが、このところお天気が良かったのが救いです。今日からお天気が崩れてしばらく雨マークばかりですが、一日中雨ということではなく、今日も曇ったり雨が降ったりしたものの、夕方からは良いお天気でした。

It’s May from today.  It’s the most comfortable time of year in Japan but sadly they aren’t allowed to be out and about.  Here in England, I cannot believe how cold it still is but at least we have had a lot of sun.  The forcast has a rain mark every day for the next 10 days but it doesn’t seem to mean it will be eaining a lot.  Today, it was cloudy, then had some heavy rain but we had a lovely evening sun.

今日の夕食は、以前作って1人分余ったものを冷凍していた「スペイン風ポーク」と「チキンのトマトとオリーブ煮」にしました。夫はスペイン風ポーク、わたしはチキン。どちらも煮込みなので冷凍しても味が落ちず、美味しかったです。

Today’s dinner was freezer dinner – there was one portion of Spanish Pork and one portion of Chicken in Olives and Tomatoes left, so we decided to have them.  My husband chose pork and I had the chicken.  As both of them are casserole type of dishes they taste good even after being defrosted.
