Chilli Con Carne


My husband wanted to have Chilli Con Carne so that’s what we had today for dinner.  I was looking at the back of the Chilli spice mix package and put as much tin tomato as the recipe suggested and found it too tomatoey.  I usually use a half or 2/3 of a tin tomato for 450g-500g mince beef, but today I used a whole tin, a bit too much for us but it was still enjoyable.


We bought these dishes recently.  I have been wanting to get them for a long time but wondered if they were a bit too “cute”, but we like them.  Although I still love the plain white Korean dishes that we use all the time, we were getting a bit tired of using the same ones so often.  White dishes are easy to use but a little decoration makes it fun and they go in the dishwasher, which is great.
