今回の旅行で泊まったのは、ブロードウェイ近くの「Backland Manor」。やっとロックダウンが緩和されてホテルもオープンしていますが、長い間クローズしなくてはいけなかったので仕方のないことかとは思いますがかなり値上がりしています。それでもやはり、このところ満室だとおっしゃっていました。

The hotel we stayed at on this trip was “Buckland Manor” near Broadway.  As they were closed for a long time and finally opened relatively recently as the lockdown was loosened, they seem to have put their prices up quite a lot.  I guess that cannot be helped to survive, they have been fully booked even then.

デラックスルームを予約したら、お隣に小さなツインベッドルームもついていました。豪華なお部屋ではなかったですが、広さは十分ありました。

We booked their “Deluxe Room”, which had another small room next to it with twin beds.  This room was comfortable and large enough although I wouldn’t really describe it as “deluxe”.

 

 

 

 

 

既にアップした午後４時のお茶とスコーンは、ここのテーブルでいただきました。

We had tea and scones at one of these tables in the garden.

 

 

広いお庭にはとてもたくさんのお花が咲いていて、とっても綺麗でした。

The large garden was full of beautiful flowers!
