ガソリン不足なのでお買い物にも行けず（まだガソリンは入っていますが、出来るだけ使いたくないので）、今日の夕食は冷凍していたチキンとお野菜のクリームシチューにミルクを足して、ブレンダーでガーッとしたスープとパンでした。明日、オンラインスーパーの配達があるので、やれやれ、です。

As we cannot fill the petrol in our car, we are trying not to go anywhere, so today’s dinner was just a very simple soup and bread – using the chicken and vegetable cream stew we cooked the other day and froze.  We’ll be having a delivery from the online supermarket we use, so we will have some new food!

日曜日の旅行がどうなるかは、金曜日からホテルのキャンセル料が発生するので木曜日中に決める予定です。首相は、ガソリン不足は緩和されてきていると言っていますが、夫が見に行った近所のガソリンスタンドは売り切れです。

We haven’t decided what to do about our trip from Sunday.  We’ll have to decide by the end of Thursday as we’ll have to pay hotel cancellation fees if we cancel later than that.  The prime minister is saying that the situation is getting better, but still no petrol in the petrol station near here.
