キッチンとダイニングルームの前にあったパティオを広げて大きくして、離れたところにあったパティオ（午後はこちらに日が当たります）は少し芝生側に移動させ、２つのパティオは敷石で繋げますが、今日、奥のパティオ部分がほぼ出来たみたいです。面白いなと思うのは、多分、日本だったらあと少しのところまで来ていたら今日のうちに完成させるのではと思うのですが、こちらでは、時間が来たら終わり。ワイドレンズで撮るとどうしても手前が大きく写るのでずいぶん違う感じに写ってしまいますが、写真のイメージよりも奥のパティオは大きいです。

We are enlarging the patio in front of the kitchen and the dining room, moving the patio in the back of the garden (where you get some sun in the afternoon) closer to the lawn and they will be connected with some stepping stones.  It looks like the one in the back of the garden is nearly done.   I find it interesting that they didn’t finish it today even though it looks like it’s only a few more stones, to go. In Japan, I think they would have finished it before leaving for the day. The wide lens makes everything close to you much larger so the proportion looks quite different from the real thing, the patio in the back of the garden is much larger than it looks on this photo.
