このところ、雨ばかりのイギリスです。昨日は日曜日の予報に蜘蛛の影からお日様が少し覗いていたのに、今見たら雲だけになっています（涙）、この先１０日間、全くお日様が見られません。そして、なんでも、もうすぐ雪が降る寒さになるのだとか。じめじめ雨が降るよりも、雪が降ってくれる方が嬉しいのですが、この辺りの予報をみるとそんなに低い気温にはならないみたい。

今日は、お隣のご夫婦に夕食後ワインを飲みに来ていただくので、早めに、簡単な食事をしました。冷凍していた、バターナッツ・スクウォッシュとココナッツミルクのスープ。カレー味です。

It’s been miserable weather in England, there was the sun behind a cloud mark for Sunday when I checked the  weather forecast but it seems to have changed and all I can see is cloud and rain for the next 10 days.  I’ve heard that it’s going to be very cold soon and snow is expected, but looking at the forecast in this area, that cold air doesn’t seem to be heading our way.  We’d actually love to have some snow.

We invited our next door neighbours to have wine & cheese after dinner, so we had a very early supper of soup.  We just defrosted Butternut Squash & Coconut Milk soup that we made sometime ago, it’s flavoured with curry spices.
