今日は、コーヒーモーニングの集まりがありました。と言ってもお隣とそのお隣の奥様お２人との３人だけの集まりですが、人見知りなわたし的には、特に親しくなるまでは、少人数の方が心地良いです。買ってきたケーキもテーブルも（特にセッティングしたわけではないですが）写真を撮り忘れてしまいましたが、昨日、「La Patisserie」で買ってきたタルト類とフィナンシェ風のものをお出ししました。夫も家にいたのでコーヒー、紅茶は夫が淹れてくれて助かりました。

I hosted a coffee morning gathering today – nothing major, just myself and the two ladies from next-door and next-door but one.  I’m shy with new people so I prefer a small group anyway.  I forgot to take photos of the table or the cakes (I didn’t set the table properly, just knives, forks and paper napkins with plates) but I served 3 tarts and “almond bites” that we got from from La Patisserie yesterday.  My husband was at home and he made coffee and tea for us, which was lovely.

お２人から、とヒアシンスの鉢植えをいただきました。次回からはぜひ手ブラでとお願いしています。

They brought a pot of lovely hyacinths when they came – I asked them not to bring anything next time, though.

これから普通の生活が徐々に戻って、ご近所付き合いも出来れば良いなと思っています。

I’m hoping that we’ll be able to socialise more with our neighbours as life becomes more normal.
