今日は日曜日でお休みのレストランが多いですし、出かけるのも面倒なので、先日買ったパスタとパスタソースを使って簡単な夕食にしました。簡単な、ではあるのですが、実はパスタを茹でるお湯が沸くのに40分くらいかかり（わたしたちが思うにおそらくプロパンガスでパワーがない）、さっと作れるはずが1時間くらいかかってしまった、というオチ付きです。今日出かけた時についでに買った、M＆Sのガーリックブレッドと一緒にいただきました。

As it’s Sunday many restaurants are closed and we didn’t feel like going out, so we decided to use the pasta and the pasta sauce we bought the other day and have a quick and easy evening meal. Well, a quick and eazy meal became a long prep meal because it took us 40 minutes or so to boil the water to cook the pasta, we think it’s probably propane gas and the cooker doesn’t have much power. We had it with garlic bread that we bought in M&S when we were out today.

使ったトマトソースは、こちら（写真は大きな瓶ですが、買ったのは小さなもの）これまでで市販のパスタソースを使った経験がほとんどないので（多分1、2度）他のものと比べてどうかはわからないのですが、これはなかなか美味しかったです。

This is the jar of tomato sauce we used (this one is a large jar but we bought a smaller one). I don’t remember buying a ready made pasta sauce except once or twice so I cannot say what this is like comparing to others, but this one was quite tasty.
