今日は移動日、インバネスのロッジから今日の宿泊ホテルがあるボーダーズと呼ばれるところまで、4時間ほど。途中、パース近くにあるガーデンセンターのカフェでサクッとランチをしました。お昼にパブなどでヘビーな食事をするのは避けたいし、良さそうなカフェもなかったのでガーデンセンターという珍しい選択でしたが、その手もあったね、という感じです。美味しいものは期待出来ませんが。

We drove from the lodge near Inverness to Borders, where there is the hotel we are staying at tonight, it took us about 4 hours plus lunch break (at a garden centre near Perth). We don’t want to have a heavy lunch at a pub and couldn’t find any good cafe so my husband chose a garden centre, a little unusual choice but a good idea as we just wanted sandwiches and a little break although it’s not likely you’ll get good food.

インバネスから少し先のAviemore という、特に景色が良いところを通りました。

We drove through a very beautiful area “Aviemore” near Inverness.

QueensFerry Bridge という2017年に完成した新しい橋。

This is the “Queensferry Bridge”, the new crossing over the Firth of Forth, which was completed in 2017, very beautiful.

ここからエジンバラを通って、ボーダーズ。ボーダーズはなだらかな丘が続く緑が綺麗なところです。

We then drove around Edinburgh and into the Borders, which is another beautiful place.
