Spaghetti Bolognese


Today’s dinner was Spaghetti Bolognese (ragu).  We used a small quantity of left-over ragu that was in the freezer, made a tomato sauce (onion, garlic, tin tomato, chilli flakes, salt, pepper & sugar – and I added pancetta today) and added the ragu.  It’s a very simple sauce but I tend to like such a simple sauce best.  It was delicious.  Even my husband, who didn’t used to like spaghetti, was saying “Delicious!” when he was eating it, so it looks like he is getting to like long pasta, too, which is great.
