Gazpacho On A Hot Day


Now it is too hot to cook here, too – so we had something that doesn’t require any cooking, Gazpacho.  All you do is to chuck everything in a blender (Thermomix in our case).   We did use a small Japanese oven/toaster for warming up a frozen baguette, but it doesn’t release much heat and all we do is to put the baguette in and out.  We have a Japanese ‘oven toaster’, which is nice and small so it doesn’t make the kitchen warm.  The ovens in England are good for cooking but they are quite large and powerful, when we use it and stand in front of the oven it really makes me hot and bothered when it’s so warm like today.






The temperature went down to 26C by the time we finished our supper, it feels quite cool now.
