今日の夕食は、冷凍していたラグー（ミートソース）を使って、パスタベイク。ホワイトソースは夫担当。パスタは、リガトーニを使いました。美味しく出来ました。４人分作ったので、明日もこれです（笑）。

Today’s dinner was Pasta Bake using the ragu from the freezer, and a white sauce which my husband made. We used Rigatoni for the pasta today, it was very good.  We cooked enough for 4 people so we’ll be having the other half tomorrow.

今月も半分近くまで来ましたね。日本は随分暖かいみたいですが、イギリスはまだまだ寒いです。以前も書きましたが、日本（といっても真ん中あたりのことですが）とイギリスは寒さは同じ程度なのですが、ただイギリスは寒い時期が長いのです。大体、１１月から３月まではほぼ真冬という感じなので、１年の半分近いですよね。でも、去年まではタイツを２足、それも５月ごろまで履いていましたが、今年は２足履いたのはほんの数日だったので、体が慣れて来たのだろうと思います。香港やシンガポールの気候に慣れていたので、最初の年はとにかく寒かった。

Already nearly a half of this month has gone.  It looks it’s getting quite warm in Japan but it’s still very cold here, the highest temperature is still below 10C.  I’ve written this before but the coldest is about the same here as in Japan (middle of Japan), but the cold time is very long here.  I would say it is winter from November until March here so nearly a half of a year is winter.  However, until last year I was wearing 2 pairs of tights during the winter (actually it was May when I stopped wearing 2 pairs), but this year I wore 2 pairs of tights only for a few days when it was really cold.  I guess I’m getting climatised.  I remember the first year I felt really cold after living in Hong Kong and Singapore, where winter is very mild or non existent for longer than 20 years.
