We had a bank holiday Monday last Monday but this coming Monday is also a bank holiday because of King Charles’ Coronation, the actual Coronation was today – in the rain.  I don’t think people are as excited about it as they were at the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee including myself, but perhaps there is a lot more excitement in London.

As I worked hard to do some planting in our garden and was squatting down for most of the 2 hours we worked, I was prepared to get very painful legs today – but no pain really, I’m happy to say.  I noticed a little pain on my right arm when I moved it in a certain way, but not bad at all.  We did plant the Veronica today, which we didn’t have time for yesterday, when the rain stopped for a short time this afternoon.  It started to rain soon after we finished planting them and rained for most of the rest of the day.  As we planted quite a lot of little plug plants yesterday and today, we actually welcome the rain!

Today’s dinner was Hamburger using the Japanese style Hamburgers that we made and froze some days ago.  On the burgers we put sauce (mayonnaise, ketchup, Sriracha), lettuce, tomato, sauteed onion, and gherkin.  On my husband’s we also put some cheese and let it melt.  On the side, we had a salad and oven chips.
