今日は、夕方７時半にガーデンデザイナーさんがチェアマンの「アランデル・ガーデンズ・アソシエーション」主催のトークを聞きに行くことになっていたので、夕食は早めに、会場のすぐ近くにある「タイタイム」でいただきました。

We were going to a talk at 7:30pm hosted by Arundel Garden Association (our garden designer is the chairperson) so we had an early dinner at Thai Time, which was very near where the talk was going to be.

 

野菜春巻き。

Vegetable Spring Rolls.

チキンサテー。

Chicken satay.

 

ポークのイーサン風サラダ。

Laab Moo.  (Mince pork salad Issan style.)

チキンとカシューナッツの炒め物。

Stir-fried chicken and cashew nuts.

 

 

デザートは、バナナフリッター。

Banana fritters for dessert.

 

アランデル・ガーデンズ・アソシエーションのトークは、Sissinghurst Castle Garden のヘッド・ガーデナーさん、Troy Scott-Smithさんによる、Sissinghurst の Delos Garden を作り直しについてのお話でした。

The talk, organised by Arundel Gardens Association,was about the re-created Delos Garden at Sissinghurst by the head gardener, Troy Scott-Smith.
