今日の夕食は昨日の予定通り、ビーフのビール煮込みをカレーにしたものでした。ただ、ビーフの煮込みにはお野菜がなかったので、玉ねぎ、人参、ポテトをビーフストックで煮込んでからビーフ煮込みと、少しあったトマトソースも加えました。

Today’s dinner was Japanese Beef Curry using the left-over beef in beer as planned.  However there were no vegetables in the beef in beer so we cooked onion, carrot & potato in beef stock before adding into the beef stew, we also added some tomato sauce that we had left.

昨日は１日うっとおしい雨でしたが、今日は晴れました。明日、明後日も晴れそうですが、その後はまた崩れそう。なかなか、安定しませんね〜。いつになれば、晴れの日の方が雨の日より多くなるのやら。っていうか、イギリスって元々雨の方が多かったんでしたっけ？あまりに長い間雨が多くて、それ以前がどうだったか忘れてしまいました。

It was a miserable wet day all day yesterday but it was nice and sunny today. It looks like it’ll be good tomorrow and the day after tomorrow, but more rain is expected after that.  I wonder when we’ll start having more sunny days than rainy days.  Or do we never have that in England?  I cannot remember now what it was like before all this rain started.
