今日は午後からそこそこ良いお天気になりそうな予報だったのですが、結局一日中曇ってどんよりとしていました。明日は、また、午後から雨になるらしいです。去年の今頃のブログを見たら、お天気は悪いもののこの冬はあまり寒くはないのでお花は今年の方がかなり早いみたいに思います。今の状態と去年の３月末のお庭の様子が良く似ています。それにしても、いい加減に良いお天気が続くようになってほしいものです。日本は暖かいと思ったら寒くなる、という感じのようですね。こちらは安定してお天気が悪いです。

The forecast showed that we’d have some sunshine in late afternoon but I didn’t see it, it looked very dull all day.  I looks like we’ll have rain again in the afternoon tomorrow.  Looking at my last year’s blog, our garden looks similar now to how it was at the end of March last year, I guess because it’s been quite a mild winter although we are having so much rain.  We are really fed up with this weather and waiting for it to get more stable.  It looks like the temperature is going up and down quite drastically in Japan and is quite cold at the moment, colder than here.

昨日のパスタグラタンが半分近く余ったので、今日はその残りをサラダといただきました。そして、昨日フランスパンを買いにショーラムまで行ったので、ついでに買って来たタルトをデザートにいただきました。ラズベリータルトと杏のタルト、半分ずつ。

There was nearly half of the pasta gratin left yesterday so we had that with a salad today as our dinner.  We also had a dessert because we went to La Patisserie in Shoreham yesterday to get some baguettes.  Raspberry tart and apricot tart – half each.
