昨日、ドゥブロブニックでエクスカーションが終わってからランチをして、その後、城壁を歩きました。この城壁は13世紀に建てられましたが、17世紀に今の形に完成したそうです。入り口は3ヶ所あって、歩く方向は反時計回りと決まっています。1940メートルあり、ざっと歩くと1時間くらいで1周出来るそうですが、わたしたちは途中でドリンク休憩して半分ちょっとのところで下りました。ずっとそうですが昨日も晴天で気温は23、4度だったと思いますがカンカン照りで暑くて、わたしはパラソルをさしていたのでまだ良かったので元気でしたが、帽子だけで歩いていた夫は結構疲れたようで、船に戻ってからお昼寝をしていました。

Yesterday, after the lunch we walked on the city walls, which were shaped in the 13th century and completed in the 17th century. There are 3 entrances and you have to walk in the anticlockwise direction. It’s 1,940 meters long in total and takes about an hour if you walk at normal speed, but we stopped along the way for a drink (fresh orange juice for me and fresh grapefruit juice for my husband) and walked a little longer than a half way around the loop. As it has been all the time on this cruise, it was such a beautiful day, the temperature was probably about 23C or 24C but it felt hotter because the sun was so strong. I had my parasol so I felt OK but my husband must’ve been tired as all he had to protect from the sun was a baseball hat, he had a nap once we got back on the ship.

城壁の上からの眺めは絶景で、本当に素晴らしい景色、美しい街でした。
