今日のフランス菓子教室で作った、「レストラン風デザートプレート」、バーベキューの後で盛り付けていただきましたが、盛り付けがちょっと残念なことに（涙）。パンナコッタを型から出すとき上手くつるっと出せずちょっと上の端っこがぎざぎざしてしまったのと、黒蜜が緩すぎて、なんとかいけるかなと思ったのですが流れちゃいました。黒蜜は手に入らなかったので黒砂糖とお水を混ぜてレンジでチンしたのですが、しすぎると硬くなってしまうので恐々何度もしては冷蔵庫で冷やして様子を見ながらまたチンと繰り返していたのですが、まだ緩かったです。 So, here is “L’assiette de dessert”, which is Black Sesame & Matcha Panna Cotta. 今日の夕食は、今年初めてのバーベキュー！バーベキュー、してないね、といいながら、なかなか良いお天気とこちらの都合が合わず、今日になりました。今日は湿度もなく２５度くらいとバーベキュー日和でした。昨日セインズベリー（スーパー）に行ったときにバーベキュー用のものを買ってきていて、ハンバーガーとチキンのマンゴー＆ココナッツマリネ。そして、少し前に焼いて残っていたソーセージ、とうもろこし。他にはサラダと、昨日の残りのインド料理をランチに食べたときご飯が足らなそうと思って冷凍していたピラフを解凍したら余ったので一緒に。 Today’s dinner was BBQ, for the first time this year. All Day Breakfast
今日の夕食は、イングリッシュ・ブレックファースト、つまりイギリスの典型的な朝食メニューでした。久しぶりにリンゴ入りのソーセージを買っていたのを忘れていて、早く食べなきゃ！ということでこういうメニューになりました。イギリスの家庭では多分時々夕食にも食べられているメニューです。ソーセージ、キャラメライズオニオン（これは朝食には普通つかない）、焼きトマト、焼きマッシュルーム、目玉焼き。典型的な朝食には、他に、ベーコンも必ずつきます。 Today’s dinner was “All Day Breakfast” (English Breakast). We’d bought Sausages with Apple, which needed using, hence this. Sausages, caramelised onion (doesn’t usually come in breakfast, I know), fried tomato, fried mushrooms, fried egg. We didn’t have bacon today.
