今日は１日雨が降ったりやんだり。明日もお天気が悪く、寒くなる予報。
It was very dark with rain on and off today and it looks like it’ll be similar tomorrow and will also get very cold.
イギリスは、もうすっかり冬という感じです。とういことで、今日の夕食はお鍋にしました。昨日サラダを作った時に多めにポテトを茹でて余ったのをポテトサラダにして今日のお昼にサンドイッチに使ったのですが、まだ少し余っていたのでハムに巻いて食べてしまいました。
It’s already very wintery in England, so we had Japanese steam boat for dinner. When I made the salad yesterday I cooked extra potatoes and made a potato salad for sandwiches for today’s lunch but there was still some of that left so we had it wrapped with ham at the dinner when we were waiting for the steam boat to be ready.
お鍋の具は、白菜の代わりのロメインレタス、リーク、人参、しめじ、お餅、お豆腐、冷凍のガンモを買っていたのでガンモも。鶏団子は前回お鍋をした時余ったのを冷凍していたものを使いましたが、少ししかなかったので３つずつくらい。タレは、市販のごまだれにごまペースト（今日はピーナッツバター）、お醤油、みりん、にんにく、しょうが、柚子胡椒、七味を混ぜました。各自でおネギたっぷり、シャンツァイもたっぷり加えます。とても美味しくいただきました、最後のお餅も美味しかったです。
We had Romaine lettuce (instead of usual Chinese cabbage), leek, carrot, oriental mushroom, rice cake, tofu, ganmo (deep-fried tofu I bought from a Japanese grocery shop in London online). We also had chicken balls but not many, just 3 balls each because I used left-over from last time when we had steam boat (took them from the freezer). I made the dipping sauce with store-bought sesame sauce, sesame paste (I used peanut butter instead today), soy sauce, mirin, garlic, ginger, yuzu-kosho, shichimi. We add plenty of chopped green onion and coriander to the sauce at the table. It was very tasty and the rice cake we had at the end was yummy, too.

うちのはお餅食べたら喉に詰まって死ぬと思っていて。
たこブツで窒息しかけた経験があって、それがとっても苦しかったんですって。
気をつけて食べればいいだけのことなのにね。
こちらも明日は雨で最低気温が5℃で最高気温9℃の予想。

私はテーブルの真ん中まで手が伸ばせるように頑張ってリハビリしなくちゃ！
夫はお餅、大好きなんです、
大福餅とかも大好きです。
まぁ、年とってくるとお餅が詰まる事件はありますが
もっともっとお年の方ですよね、多分。
こちらは、最高気温が５度とかになって来ました。
寒くなるとやはりお鍋、良いですよね。
お鍋にマストなお豆腐が簡単には手に入らないので
なかなか出来ないのですが。
そうですね、肩がまだあまり動かせないと
お鍋も難しいですね。
左手でお箸は難しいし。。。
穴つきおたまみたいなので左手で掬って
食べる時だけ右手、なら出来そうです。
