昨日からまたぐんと寒くなり、昨日お庭仕事をしていた時に手が悴んだのですが、今日も引き続き寒かったです。明日は最低気温は少し上がって８度となっていますが、最高気温は１０度、この先しばらくは最高気温は１０度前後のようなのでしばらく寒そうです。

It got colder again yesterday and when I was doing gardening my hands got very cold, it’s been cold today, too.  The lowest temperature is expected to go down to 8C tomorrow but the highest is still only 10C and it looks like similar temperatures in the next two weeks.

今日の夕食は、スープとサラダ。スープは冷凍庫に入れていたミネストローネスープに数枚だけ薄くスライスしたチョリソを足しました。サラダは、洋梨が良い感じに熟れていたので、洋梨とピーカンナッツとブルーチーズのサラダ。ただ、ブルーチーズはフランスパンのスライスののせてエアフラーヤーで焼いてみたら軽すぎて、２枚はひっくり返ってチーズがなくなってしまいました（笑）。エアフライヤーは熱風が強いので軽いものは飛んだりひっくり返ったりするみたいなのです。

Today’s dinner was Soup & Salad.  The soup was minestrone from the freezer, I just added a few slices of thin chorizo for extra flavour.  We had pears that are just nicely ripe so the salad was `pear, pecan nut & blue cheese salad.  However, 2 slices of French bread with blue cheese topping were turned over in the air fryer when I tried to let the cheese melt because they were very light.  I knew this was a possibility, but when you put very light things in the basket they can be flying around inside because the air flow from the fan is quite strong.
