I haven’t been able to blog a couple of things from Friday until now. I went to my nail salon, then hair salon so my husband and I had a quick lunch in Chichester after my hair appointment, which finished at 1:15pm. As it was a little late, we decided to try the cafe close to the hair salon called “17 GRAMS”, which is, I think, relatively new. Looking at their website, they seem to be very enthusiastic to serve good coffee using good quality coffee beans. The food they serve is all ‘breakfast’ menu. The inside is quite large and we saw quite a few people studying or working with their laptops.

My husband’s Latte – cute latte art! We don’t see much latte art around here, so even such a simple one can impress us. However, the cup was very small so it was very little amount.

I had Sourdough Toast with Crushed Avocado, Sliced Avocado, Grilled Endive, Balsamico Glaze & Olive, I quite enjoyed it. The slice of toast was quite large so it did fill me up.

My husband had Eggs Benedict with Chorizo, but one of the poached eggs had hard yolk, which is such a shame. I feel poached eggs with hard yolk have no value.

There aren’t many nice places you can have a light lunch in Chichester so this one is quite good, we felt. However, eating out is so expensive in England. The avocado toast was £10, Egg Benedict was £12.50. Wow! They are normal prices here but I cannot help getting shocked when I convert to Japanese yen because they are enough for quite a nice 3 course lunch there. I suppose yen is just so cheap…
