今日はネイルサロンにお昼前に予約を入れていたので、そのあと、夫と久しぶりに「 Joanna’s Boutique Tearooms」でランチをしました。しばらく行っていないうちに、少しテーブルアレンジが変わっていて、以前からあった外のテーブルをアイスクリームパーラーとして使われていました。でも、多分夏の間だけだと思うので、もう直ぐおしまいかなと思います。

I had an appointment at my nail salon in Chichester a little before lunch time so after I was done I met my husband and we went to “Joanna’s Boutique Tearooms” and had a quick lunch.  We hadn’t been there for a little while and they had changed the arrangement, the outside tables were used as an “Ice Cream Parlour”.  I’m guessing it’s just for the summer so it’ll probably go back to the previous way soon.

夫もわたしも「ガーデン・クラブ・サンド」にしました。クラブサンドなのでパンが３層になっていて、１枚のパンの厚さが日本で普通に使われるサンドイッチ用のパンより分厚く食べ応えもある食感で中身もたっぷりなので食べきれず、２人とも少しずつ残しましたが、美味しくいただきました。

We both had “Garden Club Sandwich”.  As it’s a club sandwich there are 3 layers of sliced bread and each slice is thicker and heavier than what you usually get for club sandwiches and they are generous with the filling, too, so we both left a little but did enjoy what we had.
