ホテルでチェックイン後、ベニスの街を目的なく、ただブラブラ。ベニスは今回で何度目かな、多分6回目くらい。何度来てもどこを撮っても素敵に見えて、ついつい沢山写真を撮ってしまいます。
After checking in at the hotel, we mooched in Venice without any plan whatsoever. I think this is probably the 6th or 7th time for us to be in Venice but it still feels special and I cannot help taking many photos because wherever I look it’s picturesque.
それにしても、メインの道は人が多くて疲れるけれど、ちょっと横道に入ると途端に空いてます。
Venice is so busy and tiring to walk when you are on the main paths but many little unknown paths are nice and quiet.
ベニスのブラブラ歩きの続き。2時間程歩いて疲れたのでカフェで休憩し、ホテルに戻る途中、2年前にフードツアーで教えていただいたベニスdr一番美味しいジェラート屋さんに並んで、ピスタチオのジェラートをシェアし、ホテルに戻りました。
We continued our mooching for a couple of hours, then had a rest at a cafe, before heading back to our hotel. On our way to the hotel we stopped at the Gelateria, which we’d been told was the best in Venice by our food tour guide 2 years ago, and queued up for a pistachio gelato to share.
