今日の午後には、お友達と一緒に車で10分くらいのところにある「Appia Antica（アッピア旧街道）に行き、お喋りしながら、1時間程度お散歩しました。
This afternoon we went to “Appia Antica”, which is about 20 minutes away with our friend and walked for an hour or so chatting about this and that.
アッピア旧街道は、紀元前312年に着工された、古代ローマで最も重要かつ最古の「高速道路（幹線道路）」だそうです。
The Via Appia Antica (Appian Way) is one of the oldest and most important Roman roads, commissioned by Appius Claudius Caecus in 312 BCE to connect Rome with Brindis, and is Nicknamed Regina Viarum (Queen of Roads).
今日も晴天の良いお天気で25度くらいあったので、結構暑かったです。日曜日なので、お散歩をしている人やサイクリングをしている人を大勢見かけました。
It was very sunny again and warm(25C). We saw a lot of people walking or cycling the road as it was a Sunday.
