Sicilian Style Meatballs



The dinner my husband cooked tonight was Sicilian Meatballs.  The meatballs had pinenuts and raisins (supposed to be currants but we didn’t have any).  The tomato sauce was a little sour but the texture of the meatballs was very nice and we enjoyed them.  The recipe said you serve the meatballs without anything but my husband made a salad and served them with some broccolis –  it might be strange to Italian people but we find eating one taste is a bit boring.  Besides, as we don’t have starters, we should eat some vegetables.
