Mee Goreng / Indonesian Stir-Fried Noodles


It suddenly got very hot a couple of weeks ago, I guess because rainy season finished even though we still seem to be having quite a lot of rain.  During the rainy season it’s relatively cool – not really cool but cool enough to be able to wait for a taxi without melting all over, but it is hot all year around here.  I guess that’s why we seem to crave for Asian foods like Thai foods.  The good thing is that getting ingredients for Asian food is relatively easy.



Today’s dinner was Mee Goreng  (Indonesian).  It’s like Yakisoba in Japan, which my husband loves and he likes this, too.  Quick and easy as long as you prepare everything in advance.
