水曜日からまた旅行（今年のメインの旅行）に出るので、その前にお目にかかれるお友達にお目にかかっておきたく、今日は数人のお友達とランチをご一緒しました。以前マスタードにご一緒したお友達のご提案で、マスタードに行くことに。

I had lunch with a few friends at Mustard in Little India.  We ordered 1 order of everything and shared between 4 of us: Samosa, Tandoori chicken, roasted cauliflower, okura curry, butter chicken, onion naan, hankerchief roti and steamed rice.

サモサ（１オーダー、２つ）、タンドーリチキン（１オーダー）、カリフラワーのローストおくらのカレー、バターチキン、オニオンクルチャ（玉ねぎ入りのナン）、ハンカチロティ（オニオンクルチャの下にナプキンのようなものに包まれて一緒に入っていました）、白いライス（写真なし）を４人でシェアー。

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

飲み物は２人がフレッシュライムソーダ、２人がマンゴーラッシー。量が少なめのものが多いので、いろいろ食べられるのが嬉しいところ。カレーがどちらもクリーミーだったので、どちらかがもう少しあっさりしているタイプだともっとバランスが良かったかな、と思いますが、美味しくいただいてきました。

For drinks, two of us had fresh lime soda and the other two had mango lassi.  Many of the dishes come in small portions, so we were able to try a lot of different dishes at one time.  Both of the curries were the creamy type – if we had a lighter type it would probably have been more balanced – but we did enjoy everything.

お会計は、４人で１１２ドル、１人２８ドルとお得感がありました。とても久しぶりにお目にかかったお友達もおられ、旅行に出る前にご一緒出来て良かったです。

It was S$112 for 4, so S$38 per person – which seems good value in Singapore.

今日はちょうどランチを食べているときに大雨が降りましたが、すぐにやんでくれて助かりました。それにしても、蒸し暑くなりました。旅行から戻る頃にはもっと暑くなっていると思うと、げんなりします。

As we were having lunch, the heavens opened but fortunately it stopped raining by the time we finished.  It was great to catch up with each other.

ちなみに、写真はやっと新しいカメラで撮っています。まだ、フォーカスポイントの横移動が出来ず、いろいろわからないことだらけ。それでも、カメラはやっぱり新しいときの方がピントも合いますし色も鮮やかで嬉しいです。

Finally I can show photos taken with my new Canon 80D.  I haven’t worked out how to move the focus point sideways yet, and there are many other functions I need to learn, but a new camera always takes much sharper and more vivid photos, which makes me happy.
