お知り合いから予定が変わって行けなくなったのでとチケットをいただいたので、昨日は Super Japan の一環の　Blue Note Tokyo All-Star Jazz Orchestra に行ってきました。ジャズやクラッシックのコンサートやオペラなど香港では良く行っていたのですが、シンガポールでは行きたい催しが少なく、だんだんチェックしなくなってたまにあるコンサートも見逃してしまうことが多く、とても久しぶりのコンサートでした。

We were given tickets for the concert of Blue Note Tokyo All-Star Jazz Orchestra, which is a part of Super Japan so we went the the concert yesterday.  It’s been a while since we’ve been to a concert. We love going to Jazz and Classic concerts and things like opera and used to go to them often in Hong Kong, but there aren’t many good events like that very often in Singapore so we stopped checking and end up not knowing when there are.

いつものように、エスプラネードの Harry’s で軽い夕食。久しぶりに行ったらメニューが変わっていました。夫はキムチチキンバーガー、わたしはマルゲリータのフラットブレッド。メニューではおいしそうでしたが。。。

As usual when we go to a concert in Esplanade, we had a light meal in Harry’s before the concert.  They had a new menu and it all sounded good – my husband had kimuchi chicken burger and I had Margherita flat bread – but they weren’t that great.

久しぶりのジャズのコンサートでした、楽しかったです！

We enjoyed the concert.
