神戸で夫と２泊したので２箇所で夕食をいただきました。１箇所は先日レポートしたグラシアニ、もう１箇所はこのところ一時帰国の度に伺っている Ber Ber Bar。ご覧のようにわたしがいただけないお魚やシーフード、鴨、羊などが多く毎回あまりチョイスがないのが残念ですが、いただくものはどれも美味しい。
I stayed with my husband in Kobe for 2 nights so we had 2 dinners in Kobe. One was at Graciani as I’ve already reported and the other was at Ber Ber Bar, which is our favourite bar. I don’t have a lot of choices to order because their menu is small and more than a half is fish, seafood, lamb & duck, but whatever we have is all delicious.
食事を選んでから合うワインを出していただいて、２種類選んで夫と途中で交換、という飲み方をしています。いろいろなワインが楽しめますし、夫が３分の２ほど飲んだところでわたしは３分の１ほど飲んでいるというペースで交換するので、わたしは飲みすぎなくて良い（笑）。
After choosing what to eat, the owner will choose a few bottles of wine that he recommends for each course. We choose 2 for each course so my husband will have one and I have the other and we exchange sort of a half way – my husband would have had about 2/3 and I would have had about 1/3 so I don’t end up drinking too much!
最初の１品が出てくるまでの繋ぎの、appetizerの盛り合わせ。フェネルのサラミもパテも美味しいです。
The first plate is a few appetisers before the 1st course. I love the Italian salami with fennel and the pate was delicious as well.
定番のカプレーゼ。こちらでいただくトマトはいつもとっても甘くて美味しい。シンガポールでこんなに美味しいトマトは食べたことがありません。
The 1st plate was a simple Caprese. The tomatoes we have here are always so sweet and delicious, I’ve never had anything close to this in Singapore.
パスタはシンプルなトマトとモッツァレラのパスタをいただきました。
豚の肩ロースのグリルもとても美味しかったです。
Grilled Pork Shouders was very good, too.
自家製サルシッチャも１本オーダーしました、これがまた、とっても美味しい！フェンネルがたくさん入っていました。
We also had their homemade Salsiccia – so yummy! I love sausages with fennel.
お腹いっぱいになってしまったので、デザートはなしでした。
We were very full by the time we finished the sausage so we didn’t have any dessert.
