Hungarian Goulash


今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、ハンガリー風グーラッシュ。Delia Smith のレシピですが、柔らかくなるまで3時間半ほどかかっていて煮詰まってしまうので、レシピにはないお水を加えています。

付け合わせも Delia Smith のレシピで、甘酸っぱい赤キャベツをオーブンで蒸し煮にしたもので、シナモン、クローブ、ナツメグが入っているのでエキゾチックな香りがします。

It’s already September, only a quarter is left this year, it’s hard to believe…

The dinner my husband cooked today was Hungarian Goulash from Delia Smith’s recipes.  It took 3 and a half hours to cook until the beef was tender enough (we used Brisket) so he added some water that is not in the recipe, even so the liquid was reduced until it was very thick.

The side dish was Braised Red Cabbage, also from Delia Smith’s recipes.  Smells very exotic with cinnamon, clove and nutmeg.  It’s quite sweet and quite sour.






It was a lovely dinner.
