今日の午後はお友達とそのお友達がカードを作りに来られました。お友達のお友達は初めてのカード作りでしたが、とても楽しまれた様子で何よりでした。素敵なカードを４枚作られました。写真では暗い感じに見えますが、実物はもっと明るい色合いです。エンボス用のフォルダーにインクパッドで色をつけておいてから紙を挟んでエンボスする、というテクニックを使っています。

A friend and her friend came to make cards this afternoon.  My friend’s friend made cards for the first time and seemed to have a great time.  She made 4 cards, all basically the same design.  The base is embossed with an embossing folder inked some with blue and some with pink.  The Photos seem to make them look muted and dark but they are much lighter colours in real life.

お友達をお連れになったお友達も、やはり４枚つくられました。こちらも同じくインクを塗ってエンボスするというテクニッックを使っています。

My friend (who brought her friend) also made 4 cards.  She also tried the same technique with an embossing folder.

上のカードは比較的手順が少ないカードなのですが、それでも３時間くらいかかりました。集中して作っているとあっという間です。

お２人とも素敵なカードが完成して喜んでおられて良かったです！

The top cards are relatively quick to make as there aren’t so many processes but they still took about 3 hours to complete.  Time flies when you are concentrating on making them.  Very glad that both of them were very happy with what they made.
