Pork Chops Baked with Wild Mushrooms and Creme Fraiche

今日夫が作ってくれた夕食は、Delia Smith の「Pork Chops Baked with Wild Mushrooms and Creme Fraiche」。

The dinner my husband made today was “Pork Chops Baked with Wild Mushrooms and Creme Fraiche“.

わたしも数回作ったことがあります。アルミフォイルにさっと焼いたポークチョップをのせ、ポークを焼いたフライパンでマッシュルームをソテーしもどした乾燥ポルチーニを加えてレモン汁を加えて小麦粉を加えたらポークチョプに加えてクレームフレッシュをのせタイムをのせ、アルミフォイルで包んでオーブンで焼きます。レモン汁とクレームフレッシュの酸味でポークチョップがさっぱりする気がします。ただ、レシピ通りだとソースが蒸発してしまうので、何かしら水分を少しくわえておく方がよいと思います。ソースがなくても美味しかったですが。

I have also made this a few times.  It’s a nice easy recipe but I find that it doesn’t make sauce as the recipe suggests, the lemon juice evaporates during the cooking completely.  Perhaps we need to add a splash of some sort of liquid – white wine or even water.  Even though it didn’t have any sauce, it was very tasty.
