I avoid Orchard, specially Takashimaya, as much as I can because the area is full of people, traffic is bad and it’s sometimes hard to get a taxi, but we needed to go to Takashimaya today.  We had lunch at “Tonkichi”.  There was time when the coating of flour and bread crumbs was so thick and unpleasant, which is another reason why I hadn’t been there for a long time, but today the coating was thin, light and crispy and very good.
