水曜日に外食だったので、昨日は金曜日でしたがおうちご飯でした。行きたいレストランが余りないので（毎週どこに行くかを決めるのがちょっとしたストレスだったりするくらい）、我が家は大体外食は週に１度。ということで、昨日はこんなときにお決まりのチーズフォンデュー、夫大喜び。簡単なのに喜んでくれるので嬉しい。わたしは遅いランチを食べてあまりお腹が空いていなかったのですが、１人分ずつ盛り付けるお料理と違って、こういうお料理はあまり食べなくてもちょこちょこつまんでいれば一緒に食べている気分なのも良いです。

We went out for dinner on Wednesday so yesterday we stayed home and had Cheese Fondue, which my husband loves.  We don’t have so many restaurants we like so we don’t feel like going out more than once a week, it’s sort of stressful for us to think of somewhere to go every week – funny I know but that’s how it is.  I had a very late lunch yesterday but Cheese Fondue is something that you can just have a little now and again and can still feel you are having a proper meal together.

フォンデュー用の燃料がまだ見つからず困ります。１、２年前まであったのにどこにも見かけなくなり、仕方なく卓上コンロを使っていますが、テーブルセッティングの雰囲気がなくなってしまいます（涙）。

We still cannot find those pots of fuel for Fondue.  We used to find them until about a year or so ago, then they disappeared.  We’ve been using a Japanese portable gas cooker but it sort of spoils the table setting.
