昨日も寝不足でへろへろで早く寝ましたが、やはり１時間程度で目が覚めてしまいました。しばらくときどきうとうとしたり、目が覚めたり、を繰り返した後４時には頭痛ですっかり目が覚めてしまいましたが、頭痛が治まって夫が出勤してから２時間ほど眠れたのでトータルで５時間ほど。まぁ、時差ぼけがあるうちは仕方ありませんね。睡眠薬を飲んで寝る方も多いみたいですが、わたしは時差ぼけがなくてもこういうことは結構あるのであまり苦にはなりません。そのうち数日分眠れます（笑）。っていうか、今日はこれから予定なしなので、寝ちゃうかも？（笑）。今は眠くありませんが。

I crashed out early again last night, but I woke up after about an hour as before.  I did stay in bed until 4.00am, when a headache woke me up completely, but slept only for an hour or two at most.  I did manage to go back to sleep after 7.00am for a couple of hours, so not too bad.

ということで、今日のお花のレッスンで作ったシャンペトル。今日は太くて持ちにくくなるくらいになったので、最後の方はテーブルを使いながら。色も雰囲気も夏らしい涼しげなさわさわ、そよそよした感じです。お花は、スカビオサ、デルフィニューム、ユーカリ、ナズナ。デリフィニュームとスカビオサは色が似ていますしスカビオサは１本の茎にお花は１つなので、写真を撮った角度によってはスカビオサがあまり見えませんが、結構入っています。

I took a flower lesson today – usual French style bouquet.  It became quite large and hard to hold in one hand so I needed to use the table at the end.  The colour and the texture is very summery.  Delphinium, scabiosa, eucalyptus, a shepherd’s purse.  The colours of delphinium and scabiosa are similar and scabiosa has only 1 flower on each stem so it’s hard to see them from certain angles, but there are quite a few there.

早く、オーダーした花瓶が届かないかな〜。今日はキャンドル用のものに入れました。

 

 

 

先生のお宅で１枚パチリ、これはスカビオサがよく見えていますし色もきれい。我が家での写真は暗い室内で撮っているので色が綺麗に出ないのです。テーブルを窓際に置いてセッティングして撮るのが面倒で。。。日本のようにさっと取り出せる折りたたみのテーブルが見つからないのです。

This is one  photo I took at my flower teacher’s.  The colours look much better because of natural light.  When I take photos at home I’m too lazy to move furniture to near where natural light reaches so the colours never look very good.  I wish I could find one of those fold-up tables we can get in Japan here.

ちょうど週末で、明日、明後日と夫と楽しめるので嬉しいです。やっぱり、お花はいいですね！

I’m happy that my husband and I will be able to enjoy it on the weekend because these bouquets are beautiful only for 2 or 3 days in this weather, sometimes my husband doesn’t even have the chance to enjoy them .  I love flowers…!
